- Job Summary We are looking for a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie – Indonesian Cuisine to join our award-winning culinary team at The Trans Luxury Hotel Bandung. This role is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting authentic Indonesian dishes with excellence, while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, quality, and consistency. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook high-quality traditional and modern Indonesian dishes Supervise and coordinate the kitchen section assigned, ensuring smooth operations Ensure food presentation and taste meet the hotel’s luxury standards Monitor portion and waste control to maintain cost effectiveness Assist in the development and testing of new menu items for Indonesian cuisine Train and guide commis and junior chefs in proper preparation techniques Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and storage areas Ensure food safety, hygiene, and proper storage procedures are always followed Work closely with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef for day-to-day kitchen planning and operations Respond efficiently and courteously to any guest feedback regarding the cuisine Requirements Proven experience as Chef de Partie or Demi Chef specializing in Indonesian cuisine In-depth knowledge of authentic Indonesian ingredients, techniques, and regional specialties Minimum 3 years experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel or reputable restaurant Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced kitchen environment Good understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations Willing to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
