- Job Summary We are looking for a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie – Pastry to join our dynamic culinary team at The Trans Luxury Hotel Bandung. This role will be responsible for preparing, supervising, and ensuring the highest quality of pastry and dessert items, while maintaining the standards of a luxury five-star hotel. Key Responsibilities Prepare and present high-quality pastry and dessert items in accordance with hotel standards Supervise and support the pastry team in daily operations, ensuring consistency and excellence Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen in compliance with hygiene and safety regulations Assist in the development of new dessert menus, seasonal offerings, and creative presentations Monitor stock and control costs through effective ordering, storage, and waste management Ensure proper handling and storage of all pastry ingredients and finished products Train and mentor junior pastry staff, ensuring skill development and performance standards Work closely with the Executive Pastry Chef and Executive Chef to maintain service and product excellence Maintain calm and efficiency under pressure, especially during peak service times Requirements Minimum 2–3 years of experience as Chef de Partie or Demi Chef in a 5-star hotel pastry kitchen Strong technical knowledge in pastry, bakery, and dessert preparation Creative flair with attention to detail and presentation Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations Good leadership, teamwork, and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Basic proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia
