- Job Summary The Banquet Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing all banquet functions to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest experience. This role involves close coordination with the culinary, service, and sales teams to deliver high-quality events that meet client expectations while maintaining the hotel’s luxury standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of banquet functions from setup to breakdown
- Coordinate with Sales and Events team to understand client needs and translate them into operational execution
- Lead and supervise the banquet service team, including scheduling, training, and performance management
- Ensure service excellence and uphold brand standards during events
- Monitor banquet setup, service, cleanliness, and presentation in all function spaces
- Manage inventory and requisition supplies in a cost-effective manner
- Resolve guest issues or complaints promptly and professionally
- Conduct post-event evaluations and implement improvements
- Maintain close communication with the culinary team to ensure food service timing and quality\
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years experience in banquet/event operations in a luxury hotel or high-end hospitality setting
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and guest service orientation
- Able to work under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in banquet/event software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (spoken & written)
