
Job Description:
The Laundry Manager is responsible for overseeing all laundry operations to ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and timely service for hotel linens, guest laundry, and staff uniforms. This role ensures smooth daily operations, manages the laundry team, maintains equipment, and upholds the hotel’s quality and service standards
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise, train, and schedule laundry staff
• Ensure all linens, guest laundry, and uniforms are cleaned, pressed, and delivered on time
• Monitor quality and cleanliness standards at all times
• Maintain laundry machines and equipment in good working condition
• Control laundry supplies and manage stock levels efficiently
• Ensure proper use of chemicals and compliance with safety standards
• Work closely with Housekeeping and other departments for smooth coordination
• Handle guest requests and complaints professionally
• Prepare reports and assist in budgeting for the laundry department
Requirements:
• Previous experience in hotel laundry operations (supervisory/managerial role preferred)
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Good knowledge of laundry equipment, chemicals, and procedures
• Attention to detail and commitment to high standards
• Ability to work under pressure and manage a team effectively
