
Job Description:
The Reservation Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the reservations process to maximize room revenue and ensure excellent guest service. This role manages the reservations team, monitors daily operations, handles VIP and group bookings, and ensures accuracy in room allocation. The manager also works closely with Sales, Front Office, and Revenue teams to optimize hotel occupancy and profitability while delivering a seamless booking experience to guests
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and lead the reservations team to achieve service and revenue goals
• Manage daily room inventory, rates, and availability in coordination with Revenue Management
• Ensure accuracy of bookings, confirmations, and guest information
• Handle VIP, group, and special requests with professionalism and efficiency
• Monitor reservation channels (phone, email, online, OTA) to ensure timely response and service
• Prepare daily and monthly reservation reports for management
• Train and motivate the team to deliver excellent guest service
• Maintain strong communication with Sales, Front Office, and other departments
Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel reservations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of PMS/CRS systems (Opera or similar)
•Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
